Become A Mentor

Studies show that children who have at least one consistent, caring adult in their lives are less likely to drop out of school or get in trouble with law enforcement, and are better prepared to build good relationships with their own families than those without that positive influence.

You can become a powerful, positive force in the life of a child with emotional and behavioral problems. Become a mentor and you can do more than just befriend a child in any Youth Care Projects Locations – you might become the first positive role model that child has ever had.

By showing you care, you can give our at-risk youth a reason to smile, work their treatment and hope for a brighter tomorrow (mentoring tips and ideas).

Mentors make a six-month commitment and typically take their child for off-campus activities a few times a month

Right now, hundreds of mentors are actively helping Youth Care Projects children through our programs but many more are needed.

To become a mentor, or to just learn more about our mentoring program, please complete our online mentoring application and someone from our mentoring staff will contact you.
