Citizenship and Leadership Training.
Through the centre – based activities, Youth Care Projects creates opportunities for young people to develop
their leadership potentials, advance their self – confidence and self – efficacy,
Training are conducted for young people on leadership, effective communication, conflict management and
resolution, creative and critical training, civic education, life building skills such as decision making skills,
goal setting skills, time management skills, assertiveness skills, youth advocacy, gender issues, community
activism, team building and team work, problem solving skills, and strategic planning skills, etc.
Young people are encouraged and given tasks to practice newly learned skills in leadership at the centers,
in their schools and communities.
Through this way, young people imbibe right leadership and democratic values. They also take active part
in environmental sanitation of their communities and participate in volunteer work.
